Getting Organised

Luckily, I have come across igoogle before, a few months ago when I tried to log into my Gmail account.  It automatically directed me the create an igoogle page.  I enjoyed setting it up, however I can honestly say that it's hard to find the time to access all these new gadgets.

Event Management

I have used Google calendar before and found it useful, however intend to mainly use Outlook.  Our Promotions department have trialled using event brite, however our Library is lucky as our Web Master is currently tweaking an events management tool for us!

More with RSS

Well, I am happy to say that I read my RSS feeds on a regular basis (Bloglines).  I try to read my feeds each afternoon, when I simply need a basic task to see me to the end of the working day.

I skim through the feeds and only read the full articles of interest.  Currently I have approx. 15 feeds that I read.

Finally returned after a much earned break.

Just finished following all the links and watching these shows however I didn't create my own as I have come into contact with some previously and simply can't spare the time atm.

Interesting and now I am going to continue onto my next lesson.

Well, interesting.  Just signed up to become a member on the Ning, so will wait until this is approved before I investigate further.

Evaluation

Well, just went through all the info in the "Evaluation" lesson and I am happy to say that I was quite knowledgeable on this topic.  As we currently have a few Blogs we have already set up Google Analytics, however there were a few additional applications out there I was unaware of.

Delicious

I have just finished setting up a new Delicious account as I didn't set one up last time (I know, I really should have).

Anyway, all went well & it really is a great way to share/store bookmarks.  Unfortunately I couldn't set up my account with Twitter as a communication error occurred. Will try again later (as suggested).
